The research subjects were 12 teachers who directly taught the English classes. A questionnaire based on the evaluation checklist adopted by Mukundan, Nimechisalem and Hajimohammadi (2011) was employed as the data collection instrument; after that, 12 teachers were invited to participate in interviews to clarify the information. The findings showed that the course book was appropriate for the level of the students; the listening, reading and writing skills generally satisfied the objectives of the course. Nevertheless, many speaking activities were not indeed valuable; there was an insufficient variety in the topics, and the design was not eye-catching.
