Research articles from the perspective of genre structure analysis

Abstract

In the context of globalization and international scientific cooperation, the ability to write research articles is extremely necessary for professional success. However, in Vietnam, there are gaps for studies on structures of research articles. With the aim of providing domestic researchers with an overall picture of the theoretical background and literature review on genre analysis of research articles, this paper generalizes the development of genre analysis in the world and studies on rhetorical structures of research articles. We hope that this will be a useful reference for Vietnamese scientists in their scientific report writing process.
