Discussing the criteria of identifying the scientific terms

Abstract

The term is a quite abstract unit, the boundary separating the term from other units such as ordinary words, career words, nomenclature is sometimes unclear because there is always mutual transformation between them. Therefore, the establishment of criteria for identifying the terms in the distinction with related vocabulary units is very necessary. This will be the basis to help standardize terminology, contribute to preserving the purity of Vietnamese language. This work also will be useful for those who compile dictionaries in selecting the correct terminology units, serving for the compilation of current terminology dictionaries.
