Characteristics of forms, structures and parts of speech of Vietnamese food technology terms (through a survey of the English - Vietnamese food technology dictionary)

Abstract

With a corpus linguistics approach, the article reports, surveys and analyzes the formal characteristics, structural elements, and vocabulary traits of Vietnamese food technology terms based on data sourced from an English-Vietnamese and Vietnamese-English dictionary of food technology terms. This research aims to serve as a scientific basis for comparative research on English and Vietnamese food technology terms in the future.
