Extensive reading activities: Perceptions of non-English major university students in Vietnam

Abstract

Extensive reading is applied more and more widely in English classes. This activity has been proved to bring effectiveness to English learners, especially it helps them improve their background knowledge and increase their vocabulary. This article aims at finding out non-English major students’ perceptions of the application of extensive reading program in English classes.
