Flower symbols in the Tay and Thai people’s daily lyrical folk songs

Abstract

As the cultural and spiritual heritage of two ethnic groups that have many close characteristics, the daily lyrical folk songs of the Tay and Thai people also contain many similarities. In terms of prosody of artistic poetry, one of the similar characteristics is the use of flower symbols with similar meanings. The similarity in the use of flower symbols is due to the culture, general psychological laws of people and the development level of the Tay and Thai ethnic groups.
