Compiling Encyclopedia Entries on National Treasures in Hung Yen Province for the Encyclopedia of National Treasures of Vietnam

Abstract

Vietnam's national treasures have been formed on the basis of the nation's long-standing history and culture, and are distributed in regions and localities across the country. As of 2024, the Prime Minister has issued 12 decisions recognizing 294 artifacts and groups of artifacts as national treasures. In the process of compiling the Vietnam National Treasure Encyclopedia, in order to have a systematic and standardized knowledge of national treasures, it is necessary to conduct a comprehensive survey in many regions and localities - places where these treasures have been discovered, preserved and displayed. This article provides an overview of the appearance and characteristics of national treasures in Hung Yen province, and on this basis, proposes the microstructure of these entries in the Vietnam National Treasure Encyclopedia.
