Some notes about editing the entries about streets (through the practice of editing the Encyclopedic Dictionary of Streets in Hoan Kiem district in phase 1)

Abstract

Editing is an important step that requires the  participation of many experts and editors to detect  errors, weaknesses, and omissions in the manuscript  that need to be corrected and supplemented to  complete and enhance the manuscript’s quality.  Editing the Encyclopedic Dictionary of Streets in  Hoan Kiem district, like editing other dictionaries and  encyclopedias, usually includes two main stages:  scientific editing and technical editing. However, in  each stage there are also some differences. The article  discusses the editing practice of the Encyclopedic  Dictionary of Streets in Hoan Kiem district in phase  1. Since, some notes will be given when editing the  entries about streets through the practice of editing  this Dictionary.
