Abstract

The entries about psychological tests belong to 6 types of entries selected by the group of compiling the Psychological Counseling Dictionary. Psychological tests are generally a standardized tool used to objectively measure one or more aspects of complete personality, through verbal or non-verbal response patterns, or other types of linguistic acts (F. S. Freeman, 1971). Psychological tests are mainly used to diagnose human psychology. The complete test includes 4 parts: multiple choice text/test; procedure instruction; assessment instruction; standardized version. This article presents concepts, classifications, parts, standards, and basis for selecting the entries about psychological tests in the Psychological Counseling Dictionary and compiling a sample entry about psychological tests.
