Vietnamese Medicinal Plants and Herbs from the perspective of specialized encyclopedias

Abstract

The article introduces and analyzes the work Vietnamese Medicinal Plants and Herbs from the perspective of specialized encyclopedias. In terms of the macro-structure (the structure of the table of entries), it will refer to the knowledge units that are the headwords presented systematically; in terms of the micro-structure (the structure of entries), it will analyze the typical structural models of each group of medicinal herbs and plants that have been classified. Thereby, the article clarifies the values of scientific contents and encyclopedic nature of this work.
