The importance and applicability of cross-cultural communication in teaching English

Abstract

Language and culture cannot be split. This is an issue raised in many studies, however, no research has specifically mentioned the importance of teaching and learning English in the classroom in a specific environment. The article implements the survey for the non-major students at Thuongmai University, thereby some suggestions will be made for teachers to integrate cross-cultural communication activities in the process of teaching English for students.
