The basis of compilation of the Encyclopedia of Traditional Pottery of Ethnic Minorities in Vietnam

Abstract

Traditional pottery is considered one of the important occupations of ethnic communities in our country. Pottery appears popular in the cultural life of ethnic minorities, however, each ethnic community has its own characteristics. They depend on the natural conditions, culture, aesthetics, etc. of each ethnic community. The compilation of the Encyclopedia of Traditional Pottery of Ethnic Minorities in Vietnam will contribute to systematizing knowledge and updating accurate information on the process of formation and development of pottery of ethnic minorities in Vietnam. The article mentions the theoretical basis, the practical basis and proposes a model for compiling this work
