Abstract

The use of the words denoting animals in general and animal body parts in particular in the “quam chiên lang” (proverb) structures shows the unique features of the Thái people in Vietnam, reflects their psychology - culture, contributes to creating the difference in verbal expressions, in the way the Thái people perceive the objective reality.
