The lyrical tone in Cao Ba Quat's Han poetry

Abstract

Cao Ba Quat’s Han poetry is an achievement of the Vietnamese literature in the 19th century. This achivement is reflected in both content and art aspects. The article mentions the art aspect in Cao Ba Quat’s Han poetry which is the lyrical tone. This artistic feature is expressed quite abundantly in Cao Ba Quat’s Han poetry such as proud tone; advising tone; earnest sentimental tone; angry resentful tone. It can be said that the lyrical tone has actively contributed to expressing Cao Ba Quat’s attitude, emotions and noble personality
