Dictionary is one of the essential and useful search and learning tools for learning foreign languages. In addition, it is also a means to help access cultures around the world. The study of ethnic languages is always of interest to the Party and State in order to strengthen solidarity among ethnic groups, thereby helping to develop the economy, culture, education, etc. This article explores the current situation of compiling Vietnamese - ethnic minority language dictionaries in Vietnam today.
