Australasian Association for Lexicography

Abstract

The article introduces the Australasian Association for Lexicography (AUSTRALEX), including its formation, organization, and main scientific activities. It is one of the associations with a great influence on the lexicography in the world in general and Oceania in particular. The paper helps researchers on lexicography and related fields have a better understanding of AUSTRALEX and introduces them a forum for academic exchange on the theoretical and practical issues of lexicography.
