Surveying the illustrations in the Encyclopedic Dictionary of Vietnam

Abstract

The 4-volume Encyclopedic Dictionary of Vietnam supplies the most basic knowledge of the country, people, history, society, culture, science, and technology of Vietnam, and cultures and sciences of other countries in the world. The article surveys the illustrations in the Encyclopedic Dictionary of Vietnam, and then presents some comments on the criteria for selecting illustrations; sizes, colors, source notation, etc. of the illustrations used in the Dictionary.
