Definitions in the explanatory physics diction- aries for secondary school students

Abstract

Defining terms is an important issue when compiling dictionaries of explaining terms. The dictionary compilers need to select the definition that is appropriate for the target audience of the dictionaries. The article examines the definitions in the physics explanatory dictionaries to clarify this issue.
