Towards compiling an Encyclopedic Dictionary of authors and works written in Quốc ngữ in Southern Vietnam literature

Abstract

The literature presented by Quốc ngữ in Southern Vietnam has basically been restored in terms of appearance and outstanding features as well as its contributions to the formation and development of Vietnamese literature presented by Quốc ngữ in the 20th century. The research and compilation of various types of research works on literature in Quốc ngữ in general and the authors and works in particular in Southern Vietnam are a  meaningful and contributing work. The article focuses on clarifying some main contents: overview of the research and compilation situation; building principles and criteria for selecting entries, and the microstructure of the work.
