The change of meaning of the nouns with adjective semantic attributes (on Vietnamese dictionaries)

Abstract

The article studies the characteristics of  change in meaning of nouns with adjective semantic  attributes on the basis of Vietnamese dictionaries.  Through statistical and descriptive techniques, the  article studies a group of nouns with adjective semantic  attributes from the perspective of structure, origin and  classification, thereby seeing their practice and ability  to change meaning. To analyze and interpret the group  of nouns with adjective semantic attributes, the article  studies the case of “cach mang” to generalize the basic  characteristics of nouns with adjective semantic  attributes in terms of the basis of semantic change and  separation, and mechanism of change of meaning
