The role of the “tasks” in teaching and learn- ing French for Police major at People’s Po- lice Academy

Abstract

In the context of this paper, our objective is talking about the functions of tasks research in teaching and learning French of Police major at People’s Police Academy. Firstly, we analyze the differences in action research that is concerned by the missions. Then, we research the relations between language teaching for special purpose and mission actions which permit students to use the foreign language as the tool showing their final aims of communication and proper contexts. Lastly, we analyze that teaching and learning French of Police major by action missions play an important role in language communication and improve students’ competences in French skills. This curriculum is effective if we integrate the teaching of Frenche- LSP in basic French in applying the action methods with the pedagogical missions.
