The need for teaching decision making skills to students of Foreign Trade University

Abstract

While leadership and problem solving skills have been extensively taught at tertiary level, decision making skills have been mostly restricted to post-graduates of the tertiary level. A rough review of the curriculums up to 2020 for bachelor degrees in economics, business, management and business administration in universities in Vietnam tell the same thing. Not to say that even in master programs, e.g. MAs, MBAs available in Vietnam hardly incorporate decision making as a compulsory or elective subject. This article affirms the need for teaching decision making skills.
