Utterances with predicates of donating-receiving in Vietnamese

Abstract

The utterances of which the central predicates are the donating-receiving ones manifest donate-received events. These utterances are rather widely and early used in the human life. The article examines these utterances under the perspective of systemic functional grammar in three independent and interactive aspects: syntactics, semantics and pragmatics
