Definition of Bailiff in the legislation docu- ments and lookup works

Abstract

Bailiff had appeared in Vietnam for a long time, but so far it is still quite strange to many people. Due to the development of the country’s history, the regulation of Bailiff had been terminated for a period of time. In 2005, it began to be restored. In 2009, it was officially piloted in Ho Chi Minh City. In 2016, it was deployed nationwide with the aim of supporting and contributing to improving the effectiveness of civil judgment enforcement activities. The article studies the definition of Bailiff in some legislation documents and lookup works, therefrom proposing the structure and definition of this concept in the lookup works according to the provisions of current law.
