The situation and role of comparativecontrastive analysis of current linguistic studies

Abstract

Comparative-contrastive linguistics has long been considered as an important field of linguistic studies, both in terms of theoretical and practical applications. Unfortunately, it has been shown that the roles of this field are not fully recognized by various linguists and language students as well. On the basis of document analysis, this paper draws our attention to this field of study, giving us a deeper insight into different areas of comparative-contrastive analysis and their roles in linguistic studies of the present time.
