Research and compilation of the Explanatory Dictionary of Vietnamese Locutions

Abstract

Vietnamese locutions have been studied by Vietnamese linguists in many different aspects for a long time. In terms of lexicography, some locutions have been included in the general Vietnamese dictionaries. However, at present, there haven’t been dictionaries specializing in explaining Vietnamese locutions in Vietnam. Therefore, compiling a separate dictionary that systematically explains Vietnamese locutions has scientific and practical significance.
