Proposal to entry structure for a Practical Vietnamese Grammar Handbook for Foreigners Learning Vietnamese

Abstract

Up to now, there has been no work that comprehensively and systematically describes Vietnamese grammar cases for foreigners learning Vietnamese from basic to advanced levels. Researching, compiling and proposing sample entry structure for the Practical Vietnamese Grammar Handbook for foreigners learning Vietnamese has practical significance for effectively supporting the process of teaching Vietnamese to foreigners and improving students’ communication skills in a limited time, and at the same time, equipping the most important and  systematic source of Vietnamese grammar knowledge, depending on the students’ learning needs, avoiding of the state that students “learn first and forget later” the grammar cases, as well as having to learn grammar cases that are not highly applicable in daily communication practice.
