ChatGPT: Initial View, Potentials - Challenges for Teaching and Learning Activities in Vietnam

Abstract

This article aims to provide some background information regarding ChatGPT and provide some ideas as to how this tool can be applied into the process of teaching and studying, as well as evaluating the potentials and challenges of using artificial intelligence into the field of education in Vietnam. The structure of the article will be as follows: the first part will cover the history of ChatGPT and its foundational innerworkings; the second part will examine how ChatGPT can be applied to the process of studying and learning; and the last part will suggest some potential challenges of this tool and the overall implications of artificial intelligence on education in Vietnam.
