Text structure of Japanese precedents from a discourse analysis perspective

Abstract

The article focuses on describing the structure of Japanese precedents from the discourse analysis perspective. The author describes basic features of the structure of Japanese precedents. Based on the analysis a few recommendations regarding the approach to Japanese precedents in linguistic and interdisciplinary research have been suggested.
