Proper names research methods

Abstract

Compared to common names, proper names have  received less attention in Vietnamese linguistic studies so far. Nowadays, the position of proper names is significantly changed in lexicology. The proper name is the unit valued on par with a word. Thus, in this article, we discuss the Vietnamese proper name's research methods as an individual and independent research object.
