The pre-head part of the structure of Vietnamese noun that phrases extracted from: God of the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ by Jeronimo Maiorica

Abstract

This paper examines the pre-head part of the structure of Vietnamese noun phrases extracted from “God of the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ” (volume 7 and volume 8) by Jeronimo Maiorica ((1591-1656). The results show the differences (mainly the vocabulary list) of the elements participating in the noun phrases structure as well as the semantic differences compared to their counterparts today. The first part of the noun phrase structure has been developed to fill the positions, and this feature is rarely found in other sources that have been studied until now.
